Man's extent of intelligence is often based
On what he ate, people disliked, pain faced
Tis strange how much thought will never be
Blinded minds that can never see
Somehow instead of deep thought is trash
Behavior too then is often too rash
Shall most men never know themselves
There are few giants, and many elves
Each healthy one has the same brain
But like an empty sink with a plugged drain
Waters of thought would overflow uncontrolled
Restraint must be equally enrolled
Discipline of thought develops the sum
It answers the problem to overcome
Great thoughts come from great men
They are just like us all in the end
