What voice has a man
Who disregards his heart
Betraying it for ideals
Imparted by a stranger
Words of hatred abound
A finger pointing the way
Benevolence to all disguised
In self preservation's stead
Granting graces afforded so
That only God makes manifest
And mortal bonds ignorant
Mix destiny with ambition
Malevolent shepherds too
They are the Judas goats
Leading innocents blindly
To be and to slaughter
Proclaiming them martyrs
Sacrifices to an unjust cause
For only men are of violence
Killing for pleasure, not food
Where is paradise for them
For the lost will e'er wander
N'er to find their way there
Nor to see the light of truth
Neigh, judgment is of God
Only his right is just and fair
For infidels led astray by men
Martyrs condemned to hell
Reason is given to men thus
To enable choices righteous
That create hope in His name
For only good and life prevail
What voice had a man
Who disregarded his heart
Betraying it for ideals
Imparted by a stranger
