Icebergs calving from glacier terminus
Violently entering with a sudden wake
Drifting out to sea aimlessly
But with that sustanance to travel
There is a slow consuming price to pay
As hard, compact, and frigid
Becomes lost in flowing warmth
The air and the sea regain their loans
What was ages in the making
And was alienated by the water's cycle
Returns to its spawning grounds
To repeat the endless cycle again
