Days condense, instantiated pulses and ticks

I know me no more, my entire eternity in bits

I thought I saw the world for what it really did

But its emergence torments me, yet this:

I thought myself stronger, by our epoch aged

My wounds open to it, mustn't-it-be-that-it-is-by-myself-that I'm enraged?

The wind blows the East, off laughs and oft pleased

I pitch and toss out of phase

My dream becomes silence, and without, I wand-eh-er

Doubt's dark thoughts disp-eh-eh-eh-erse within the nocturne

And all is resolutio-oe-oe-oe-on

I live only ideals, words-ruined-undone,

I induce the specificity of love and ablutions

And when it all entraps, I no longer feel me holding back

The defiance which may pass seems remote, even that

I know such a test can undermine forever

The hopes of one life strewn over with regrets

But all watching me, I feel my heart skip-a-step

And being bereft, it is one dead which slow, self evident
