Ascending the heights
A summit to discover
On amountain's majesty
Terrestrial limits tested
The airis chilled and fine
A struggle of breath
Ardious tasks surmount
Apnic and sleep deprived
A test alone with final results
By determination and luck
Will it be completed
In silent acclamation of life
Beyond the cloudy edge
There, lies heavenly limits
A domain without the body
Where the soul is unsullied
As if to walk upon clouds
Beneath pure blue skies
A halo of stars surround
The dazzling rays of the sun
A majestic celestial palace
The wondrous light of morn
Where a sanctuary unfolds
Alone, communing in dawn's glow
Hope reborn in its throes
For all temporal things vanish
Amid the mortal bonds bearing
The being uninhibited flies
Here the soul departs
Left behind are the cares
The limits of the spirit
Give way to another sphere
A kingdom of fantastic colours
Soft, surreal, sanctified
The spirit frolics freely
The body rests in suspension
