You think she’s so far away.

Then one morning you meet her,

on her arm is a child, a happy child.

While running along the way,

he dances and plays with life.

He dreams he can fly away.

And all this is poetry.

Then she takes you with her,

holding your hand forever, and now…

You’re not a child anymore.

Life now is not a game.

You realize you’re a man.

And all this is poetry.

You think she’s so far away.

Then one night in the dark,

she comes and cries, against your heath.

You wish you could talk to her,

but you can’t find the words,

and know love is over.

And all this I think, is poetry.
