Old man I see you sitting there
Weathered by times changing tide
Wrinkled face, false teeth, thinning hair
In your corner always you hide
Friendless fiend woe is your earned own
For thought and speech betray you
No kind word on another was bestown
Icy soul that hid tender heart true
Alone now perhaps forever to end
Time to mend your ill ways is in touch
Make amends happiness to all to send
It will return friendship even as you watch
But do not let death catch you asleep
For mistaken fools go in regret unknown
When you perish shall anyone weep
For a forgotten name on a forgotten stone
Take heed the words of a youthful lad
Know well he sees clearly fault
The wisdom gone that you once held
Will be interred within your vault
