I come home again, the nerves entangled
My corporal medium is stress-fouled spangled
Even ultimate consequences enclosed in a postbox
Yet all are relieved by the strummed steel audiovox
It speaks of hopes and wishes that are no more
Times once known pass in infinate score
Wounds of regret healed shortly by command
Anesthesia by a twist and a turn of the hand
To calm the loneliness that lurks about
When notes and words chase the sorrow out
Relating to many themes that touch us all
The streaming song dissolves isolated wall
Reach upon the shelf to that dusty long box
Then licks stroke the enchanted ultravox
Bringing melodious jams, and sanity back
