So much time given
So many days of life
Adding up summarily
Products forced upon us
Needed or not a question
Never answered, reran again
Companies that come and go
Like the toll of each day
Vanishing to dodge legalities
They pocket the money
Misrepresent for still more
Then front the goods improved
So many things plastic molded
Disposable constant profiteering
From those so easily duped by need
Need that actually is defined as want
And folly follows the market fair
When junk fills domestic space
Then hoarding the loss results
To obscure the commercial shtick
A life without limit, a life of excess
Commercials are interruptions
That sprout forth as mental weeds
Ceasing the winds of thoughtful focus
They should pay commission to those
To endure, to waste their lives
Spans lost, and unnegotiated
