Bankomat [English translation]

Money isn't the problem, there is no money

There are no dilemmas

Here no one understands who drinks, also pays

We can't fight our genes

Everyone wants money but they don't like to work

It's easiest to let someone else do the job1

Ugh, even the Dalai Lama can't help us

Ugh, a small country yet full of savages2

We're scared of hoes, but we would like bread

And we're waiting for Euros to fall from the sky

Ugh, will a better day ever come?

Ugh, our lives pass in this banana republic

When you're broke you won't even find love

Women pass me by like I'm a leper

Ugh, I'm not good-looking nor special

Ugh, not even financially secure

Everyone first asks, "how much is the pay?

Should I pay my credit, is there a high rate?"

Ugh, not today, naive Fatima

Wants a kilo of gold from the ATM

Money isn't the problem, there is no money

There are no dilemmas

Here no one understands who drinks, also pays

We can't fight our genes

Tighten the reins, my dear, you're a real spendthrift

Tomorrow you'll complain to me that something else is missing

Slow down, woman, money doesn't fall from the sky

You're always shopping, you always need something

Hey lady, Fatima, relax, hold your horses3

Just so you know you won't be able to do that in Europe

It's never enough for you, you can't wait to fuck it up

You can't start cutting money out of newspapers

Money isn't the problem, there is no money

There are no dilemmas

Here no one understands who drinks, also pays

We can't fight our genes

1. The full Serbo-Croatian phrase "lakše je tuđim kurcem gloginje mlatiti" is beautiful. It means: "it's easier to mash berries with someone else's dick" (i.e. let someone else do the work).2. A "hajvan" is a person who behaves like an animal.3. "Stani na loptu" literally means: "stand on the ball" (i.e. to stop what you're doing). I felt that 'hold your horses' was an appropriate idiom to take its place.
