I wonder
why when you live waiting
a day goes by slowly as a year
I wonder
why I was not born in 1950
I would have known what to do during 70s
I wonder
if you are mine or if you are just pretending
and if, in the end, being honest really matters
I wonder
if histrory has been written by the heroes
or by someone who minded only his own business
I wonder
why sometimes my face sucks
and sometimes not
why sometimes I desire what I do not have
I just wonder
why Jesus has died for me on the cross
i would like to feel free from this wave
free from the idea that the heart is round
actuallly free and not to pretend to be strong
free from the fear of the future
free since everybody is free to go
free from a sad-ending story
and start again as a free man
as freedom is holy as the bread
as freedom is holy as the bread
i wonder
why thinking to much disturbs me
if my father has ever smoked weeds
I wonder if I will have a child
and if he will hate me
since, unfortunately, we hate
who give us too much love
I wonder if I am happy
and I can only answer
that I like my life
i would like to feel free from this wave
free from the idea that the heart is round
actuallly free and not to pretend to be strong
free from the fear of the future
free since everybody is free to go
free from a sad-ending story
and start again as a free man
as freedom is holy as the bread
as freedom is holy as the bread
free since everybody is free to go
free from a sad-ending story
and start again as a free man
as freedom is holy as the bread
as freedom is holy as the bread
