Through some never think of it
We are a hardwired community
Obscuring the blue skies around
Ever present like floaters of an eye
In the wilds of the world about
None cross the sky in bands
That strain its beauty once divine
Uninterrupted panoramic bliss
An archaic network once so dense
Spanning as though spiders' webs
An intricate system elaborate
That needs tucked away today
Then weathered wear will stay
Arrested by no exposure known
Channeled beneath the ground
Safe, secure, and unseen
The sky would be pristine
Few poles to take lives
Maintaining a lowered cost
Of life, limb, and funds
Hardwired in obsolescence
Unable to progress beyond
To think outside the box
