Andromeda Galaxy impeding
Constantly speeding, impeding
Onward toward Earth's front door
Still proceeding, whilst we explore
But in the years are yet lingering
Unnoticed by inhabitants distracted
None aware of fate impending
Five billion years, an ending
But the space involved extensive
The distance vast, incomprehensive
So the chance to collide piquant
For those stellar bodies infrequent
The strands of time are stretching
Magnificent brilliance so fetching
What we know in this instant present
Goes on changing, the perpetual extent
