New Found Glory To Celebrate 20 Years Of ‘Catalyst’ w/ New Tour
turnover time:2024-05-02 06:41:10

New Found Glory has announced the Catalyst 20 Years Later Tour, a 24-date run celebrating two decades of their 2004 opus, Catalyst. The band will perform the entire album on each date, with Chicago outfit Sincere Engineer providing opening duties.

“Fans trust us because of albums like Catalyst,” guitarist Chad Gilbert said in a press release. “We can make these records and branch out creatively, and they know we’re never going to do something really weird. We are who we are, and I love that we can play whatever and still crush it.”

The band has been consistently crushing it on stage since its formation in the late ‘90s. Their most recent set ahead of this upcoming tour came at last year’s lauded emo and pop-punk festival, When We Were Young. In their 30-minute slot, they powered through seven songs, including hits from Catalyst like “All Downhill From Here” and “Failure’s Not Flattering.”

However, on this upcoming tour, the Coral Springs, Florida, natives have at least 15 songs to play to get through Catalyst, and, likely, they’ll still include some of their other smashes like “My Friends Over You” and “Kiss Me.”

The tour begins on August 16 in their home state, at the House of Blues in Orlando. They will be on the road until October 23, when they close things out at Mission Ballroom in Denver. General on sale begins this Friday, March 15. Tickets and VIP packages are available now here.
