The soul's voice is the poet's

It reaches out, it lunges out

A free entity of pure light

That shines into the eyes of men

The portals of intangible knowledge

The passages of insight's realm

It must pass through unguarded

Uninhibited by the temporal temple

To touch the spirits receptive

The intangable reason,

Its entrance gate to pass

Open, ajar, or plainly locked

The mortal short-whiled keeper

The mitigator of the unknown

Here the spirits mingle

If only then for a moment's span

The voice of experiences sings out

Perceptions anew ring true

The poet's voice cannot be reserved

For then the message would bounce back

An empty echo lost to empty space

The void that captures lost souls

The soul exposed wholy is noble

Never, its voice to be sullied so

For souls akin are alike eternal

Only the body fragile finds the grave

The spirit shared sends respite

To those temporal beings unsure

That their senses real and unreal can

Withstand the strain of mortal bounds
