In this darkest cell
Its dimensions unknown
Imperceptible blackness
There is a tiny light
It's rays shine through
A long and narrow portal
So small, so insignificant
A lone transition merging
The dense dust circles
In moments disturbed
The want of some change
A desire to take flight
To escape these bonds
So confined, suffocating
Drawing life out e'er
'Til only a hulk remains
Rays of hope arrayed
Break the darkness's hold
But a glimmer dissolves it
And a free breath is drawn
