In the big studio

Of the film

On the set

Everyone is there

The two stars and the actors

The director and the producer

Decorators and assistants

And then the crowd of extras

They are going to film the first scene

Of Carmen's new film

And someone cries: "Silence! We're filming!"

As if destiny, quite simply

Was waiting only for this moment

He comes bursting in at that instant

Among the crowd of extras

Then suddenly, she percieves him

He lifts his head, and sees her

And in their eyes there is love

But a love of the end of days

And somebody cries: "Very good! Cut!"

In the studio she sees only him

On the set he sees only her

And in the crowd of extras

Embroidered outfits, flashy outfits

As if sleepwalking, the days pass

Lit up by their love

Without the knowledge, transfigured

They are Carmen and Don José

And somebody cries: "Silence! We're filming!"

But in the cinema studio

One day he perceives her

Laughing, roaring with laughter

With that man over there

That hurts him, he wants to leave

But destiny must be carried out

And in the crowd of extras

She fell, without even crying

Somebody said: "Very good! Cut!"
